29 CFR 1926.701(b): All protruding reinforcing steel, onto and/or into which employees could fall or come against, was not guarded to eliminate the hazard of impalement: On or about 5/18/2016 in the cable tray foundation trench at the worksite located at 6239 Upper Donahue Ferry Road, Pineville, LA; employees were allowed to work around and above 32 pieces of unguarded vertical steel rebar 42" in height located in a foundation trench 6' wide by 22' long by 4'deep; thus exposing employees to impalement hazards.
