29 CFR 1910.1030(d)(2)(vii): Contaminated needles and other contaminated sharps were bent, recapped, or removed except as noted in paragraphs (d)(2)(vii)(A) and (d)(2)(vii)(B) below. Shearing or breaking of contaminated needles is prohibited. Employer did not ensure employees did not recap sharps such as disposable razors. Tulia Health and Rehabilitation Center was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 1910.1030(d)(2)(vii), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 605638, citation number 1, item number 3 and was affirmed as a final order on February 26, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 714 S. Austin Avenue, Tulia, Texas 79088.
