29 CFR 1926.761(b): The employer did not train each employee exposed to a fall hazard in accordance with the requirements of 29 CFR 1926.761: The employer is failing to train employees on use of fall protection systems while performing steel erection activities. This was most recently documented at 27532 West Hwy 30, Sutherland, Nebraska where an employee was exposed to a fall greater than 15 feet, while attaching a platform to an elevator leg, without being trained on proper utilization of fall protection systems. Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed.
