29 CFR 1926.50(c): The employer failed to ensure that in the absence of an infirmary, clinic, hospital, or physician, that is reasonably accessible in terms of time and distance to the work site, which is available for the treatment of injured employees, a person who has a valid certificate in first-aid training was available the worksite to render first aid. Worksite located at 7390 West Middle Road, Raymond, NE, 68428: The employer failed to ensure that a person trained in first aid was available at the jobsite. On October 24, 2015, an employee fell through an opening the roof of the structure and sustained critical injuries; medical attention was not available within a reasonable time (3-4 minutes). Abatement certification and abatement documentation is required for this violation. The documentation should include written verification of abatement, applicable measurements or monitoring results, and photographs or videos which you believe will be helpful. The abatement certification sheet is enclosed with the citations.
