29 CFR 1926.1060(a): The employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize hazards related to ladders and stairways: (a)Guadalupe Moreno Construction at 13918 Weld County Road 4, Brighton, CO: On and preceding 9/2/15 the employer did not provide a training program for each employee using ladders and stairways, as necessary, which would train each employee in the procedures to be followed to minimize hazards related to ladders and stairways. Workers performed repairs to roof trusses and roof sheathing of a barn. Workers used extension ladders to access roof trusses to install braces to trusses and plywood sheeting to underside of roof sheathing. The workers were not provided ladder training. This condition exposed the workers to an approximate sixteen foot fall hazard.
