29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: An employee working at the Grandview Outlet was exposed to fall hazards because: a. the mezzanine located on the north wall of the Store Room was not guarded by a standard railing or its equivalent. The open sided floor was approximately 9'-0" feet from the open sided floor to the concrete surface below. b. the dock ramp located off the back Dock/Stock Room was not guarded by a standard railing or its equivalent. The open sided floor was approximately 4'-3" feet from the open sided floor to the concrete surface below.
