29 CFR 1910.212(a)(3)(ii): Point(s) of operation of machinery were not guarded to prevent employee(s) from having any part of their body in the danger zone(s) during operating cycle(s): On or about July 28, 2015, in Area 2 behind the Hang Line where chicken was being cut by a 9" blade on the Cantrell KFC cut-up saw machine, Model CS-100, the employer allowed an employee to operate the saw where the blade becomes unguarded as chicken is pushed into the blade for cutting specialty parts. The employees' left thumb was amputated.
