29 CFR 1926.1414(f): 29 CFR 1926.1414(f): Wire rope clips used in conjunction with wedge sockets were not attached to the unloaded dead end of the rope only. On or about September 21, 2011, employees were exposed to struck by hazards due to possible rigging failure on a Feterl GEN 11 10000 mbile hydraulic crane due to a wire rope clip used in conjunction with the wedge socket was attached to live end of the hoist line.
