29 CFR 1910.28(a)(1): Scaffolds were not furnished and erected in accordance with this standard for persons engaged in work that cannot be done safety from the ground or from solid construction. a. Wilbert, Inc. - Bellevue, OH: On or about May 1, 2015, the employer did not ensure that work which cannot be done safely from the ground, or from solid construction, was done from scaffolds. Employee(s) were required to climb machine components to access the top of a mold used in Press A7 during mold setting operations, exposing them to fall hazards of up to approximately 7.5 feet.
