29 CFR 1910.23(c)(1): Open-sided floors and/or platforms four feet or more above adjacent floor or ground level were not guarded with standard railings (or equivalent) and toeboards: a)9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ- Building 3 Back Bay/ Loading Dock: Employees worked on open sided floors or platforms between 52 and 60 inches in height which were not guarded by standard rail (or equivalent- chains), observed on or about 6/22/15. b)9000 River Rd, Delair, NJ- Foundry: Employees worked on open sided floors eight to ten feet around the furnace which were not guarded by standard rail (or equivalent- chains), observed on or about 5/13/15. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
