29 CFR 1910.24(h): Standard railings were not provided on the open sides of all exposed stairways and stair platforms: a) Wood Shop, Turning Cell, on or about 4/15/15: A fixed stairway and platform outside the exit door, with five risers, was not provided with a midrail. b) Wood Shop, Entrance to Attic, on or about 4/15/15: A fixed stairway with five risers was not provided with a midrail on the right side descending. c) UFB Bldg., on or about 4/16/15: A fixed stairway with 18 risers was not provided with railings on the left side for the last 8 steps descending. Abatement certification must be submitted for item b.
