29 CFR 1910.26(c)(3)(vii): Portable ladders were used for other uses than that for which they were intended: a) North Plant by the boiler welding areas - Employee was exposed to falls of 3 feet to the concrete floor below while standing on the ladder to perform welding tasks in that the ladder was not set up properly. b) North Plant by the boiler welding areas - Employee was exposed to falls of 5 feet to the concrete floor below while standing on the ladder to perform welding tasks in that the ladder was not set up properly. 29 CFR 1903.19(c)(1) requires certification that the abatement of the above violation is complete.
