29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) Byers Industries, Inc. at 810 S. Sherman St., Longmont, CO 80501: On and before January 14, 2015, the employer failed to provide a workplace free from recognized electrical hazards in that electrical cords had exposed inner insulation. This condition exposed the employees to the hazard of electrical shock for the following equipment: 1) 220 Volt power cord for 2-Ton crane at the plug end. 2) 220 Volt power cord for 2-Ton crane at the motor end. 3) 220 Volt power cords to various dryers. 4) Various 120 Volt drop power cords in production area.
