29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees: (a) At Lake Taneycomo Woods Development on or about October 22, 2014 the wiring at the Well House #1 and water tower facility was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that wiring was not suitable for outdoor use and use in wet environments. (b) At Lake Taneycomo Woods Development on or about October 22, 2014 the wiring at the Well House #1 and water tower facility was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that wiring boxes were not properly wired and provided with approved grounding. (c) At Lake Taneycomo Woods Development on or about October 22, 2014 the wiring at the Well House #1 and water tower facility was not free from recognized hazards that were likely to cause death or serious physical harm in that the bus bars were not properly wired. (d) At Lake Taneycomo Woods Development on or about October 22, 2014 a single pole switch was lying in a metal cabinet and exposed to the weather without being mounted in a box and provided with a weather resistant cover. Abatement certification is required for this item; use the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET for this purpose. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM. FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000.00 IN ACCORDANCE WITH 29 CFR 1903.19.
