29 CFR 1910.1027(d)(1)(i): The employer did not determine whether any employee was exposed to cadmium at or above the action level: a. On or about October 7, 2014, yard, the employer did not determine if abrasive blasting employees could be exposed to cadmium at or above the action level. Cadmium was present on the inside face shield area of a Clemco Apollo 600 HP supplied air abrasive blasting respirator. Employees were required to wear the abrasive blasting respirator and were exposed to crystalline silica and cadmium hazards.
