29 CFR 1910.1053(g)(2): Where respirator use was required by this section, the employer did not institute a respiratory protection program in accordance with 29 CFR 1910.134: a.) On or about November 16, 2023, and at times prior, the employer did not provide a written program when employees were required (mandatory) to wear N-95 masks. Employees in the saw cutting room are required to wear N-95s. The pug mill operator is required to wear a half-face respirator with organic vapor cartridges. There was no written program established for use of mandatory respirators, exposing employees to inhalation hazards such as silica.
