29 CFR 1910.219(e)(3)(i):Vertical and inclined belts shall be enclosed by a guard conforming to standards in paragraphs (m) and (o) of this section. On or before 2/7/2022 the employer did not ensure that power driven vertical belts on machines located on the workshop floor were properly guard to prevent exposing employees to a caught-in hazard. The belts are power driven and are attached to machines such as: a) On or before 2/3/22 the employer did not ensure that vertical belts for the Wesco Knitting machine #5, were properly guarded therefore exposing employees to a caught in hazard while operating the machine. b) On or before 2/3/22 the employer did not ensure that vertical belts for the Wesco Knitting machine #6, were properly guarded therefore exposing employees to a caught in hazard while operating the machine. c) On or before 1/17/22 the employer did not ensure that vertical belts for the Wesco Knitting machine #13 were properly guarded therefore exposing employees to a caught in hazard while operating the machine.
