29 CFR 1926.1153(i)(1): The employer did not ensure that at least the following hazards were addressed: Cancer, lung effects, immune system effects, and kidney effects: a. On or about July 16, 2018, in the jobsite at Villages of Seloy water and sewer main pipes installation project, the employer failed to provide training to employees on the health hazards presented by the exposure to airborne Crystalline Silica to the employees using a handheld STIHL TS420 or TS700 gasoline powered concrete saw without integrated water delivery nor commercially available shroud and dust collection system to cut concrete pipes, sidewalks and curbs.
