29 CFR 1910.134(k): The employer did not provide comprehensive, understandable training which did not occur annually and/or more often if necessary: (a) Super Stone Global Inc. located at 87 14th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11215 Employees working in the warehouse, performing the manufacturing of stone products are exposed to the hazard of chemicals. Employees are required to wear 3M N95 8210 series particulate respirators while handling chemicals such as but not limited to respirable crystalline silica when fabricating stone products however, the employer did not provide employees with initial respiratory protection training to ensure the proper use of respirators and to inform employees on the respiratory hazards to which they are exposed and in a language that they can understand. Condition observed on or about December 21, 2023 NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19
