29 CFR 1910.1001(k)(8): The employer cleaned up waste and debris and accompanying dust in an area containing accessible or visibly deteriorated asbestos containing material (ACM) and/or presumed asbestos containing material (PACM), by dry dusting, dry sweeping or vacuuming without using high-efficiency particulate air filters: a) 960 Lancaster Ave., Columbia, PA 17512 - Back Store Room - On or about March 9, 2020, the employer did not restrict dry sweeping in the back store room where severely damaged 9 inch x 9 inch asbestos containing material (ACM) or presumed asbestos containing material (PACM) floor tile was present. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photographic or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
