29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: Alaska Tent, #603: On or about March 7, 2019, and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to respiratory hazards while using 3M half-face tight fitting respirators with facial hair obstructing the sealing surface during painting operations where PPG products containing chemicals such as, but not limited to, isocyanates, xylene, toluene, butyl acetate, methylcyclohexane, acetone, and naphtha were used.
