29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A): Respirators with tight-fitting facepieces were worn by employees who had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function: a) Alloy Wheel Specialists, d/b/a Wheel Collision Center - located at 231 Moorestown Dr., Bath, PA - On or about September 17, 2024, employees who were required to wear half-face elastomeric respirators during powder coating, had facial hair that came between the sealing surface of the facepiece and the face or that interfered with valve function. Advanced Machine Systems, d/b/a Wheel Collision Center, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard or its equivalent standard 29 CFR 1910.134(g)(1)(i)(A), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1580496, citation number 2, item number 1d, and was affirmed as a final order on June 30, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 231 Moorestown Dr., Bath, PA. Advanced Machine Systems, d/b/a Wheel Collision Center, was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 1910.134(c)(1), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1554244, citation number 1, item number 2, and was affirmed as a final order on January 12, 2022, with respect to a workplace located at 7286 Penn Dr., Bath, PA. Abatement certification and documentation required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date and method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement. Abatement documentation shall include documents demonstrating that abatement is complete, such as evidence of the purchase or repair of equipment, photograph or video evidence of abatement or other written records.
