29 CFR 1926.1153(i)(2)(i): The employer did not ensure that each employee covered by this section could demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the health hazards associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica: a) 152 Bell Ave., Hasbrouck Heights, NJ (Exterior Front of Single Family Frame Home): Employees were engaged in cutting natural cultured stone, and were unable to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of health hazards associated with respirable crystalline silica. A bulk sample collected of the natural cultured stone show that the material contains 30% silica. The employer did not ensure that employees could demonstrate knowledge and understanding of health hazards associated with exposure to respirable crystalline silica, on or about 2/2/23.
