29 CFR 1910.334(a)(2)(i): Portable cord and plug connected equipment and flexible cord sets (extension cords) were not visually inspected before use on any shift for external defects (such as loose parts, deformed and missing pins, or damage to the outer jacket or insulation) and for evidence of possible internal damage (such as pinched or crushed outer jacket). A) Maintenance Shop - 1126 Richmond Ave, Staten Island, NY 10314 A bench grinder was used with sections of the power cords wrapped in masking tape. The tape impedes the visual inspection of the electrical cords to identify evidence of possible damage. Exposure occurred on or about 12/06/2021
