29 CFR 1910.29(b)(2): (2) Midrails, screens, mesh, intermediate vertical members, solid panels, or equivalent intermediate members are installed between the walking-working surface and the top edge of the guardrail system as follows when there is not a wall or parapet that is at least 21 inches (53 cm) high: On or about April 12, 2019, the employer did not ensure the work platform located above the Extruder Line #3 extruder machine was equipped with a midrail, screen, mesh, intermediate vertical members, solid panels, or other equivalent intermediate members between the top of the guardrail and the walking-working surface that was approximately 64 inches above the floor.
