OSH ACT of 1970 Section (5)(a)(1): The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to the hazards of anhydrous ammonia because the employer had not compiled written process safety information for hazards, technology, and equipment. a) On or about January 5, 2016, and at times prior thereto, process safety information did not address ventilation system design to handle the quantity of ammonia in the refrigeration system.
