29 CFR 1910.252(c)(3)(ii): A fixed enclosure with a top and not less than two sides which surround the welding or cutting operations did not provide a rate of airflow sufficient to maintain a velocity away from the welder of not less than 100 linear feet (30 m) per minute. Welding area, on or about 4/16/14: Mechanical ventilation as described in 29 CFR 1910.252(c)(3)was not provided for welders working on carbon steel. The ducts at the top of the enclosure did not provide any air flow. Abatement certification must be submitted for this item.
