29 CFR 37(b)(6): The employer did not ensure adequate and reliable illumination was provided for all exits in every building or structure equipped for artificial illumination: ALON USA, LP, 200 Refinery Road, Big Spring, TX. The employer does not ensure all exit signs are illuminated. This violation was observed on or about April 15, 2009 exposing employees to fires and explosion hazards: Two exit signs located in the Northside Control Room were not illuminated. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that exit signs in the workplace and capable of being illuminated are.minated
