29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area: (Construction Reference: 1926.59) (a) Discount Town Liquors, 554 S. Delsea Drive, Vineland, NJ: The employer failed to provide training to employees on the hazards associated with working with and around products including but not limited to Lehigh Custom Color Masonry Cement, which contains silica and Portland cement, occurred on or about 3/9/12. NOTE: THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1000.00 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19.
