29 CFR 1910.157(c)(1): Portable fire extinguishers were not mounted, located and identified so that they were readily accessible without subjecting the employees to injuries: (a) Throughout the plant - On or about January 25, 2024, the employer has several fire extinguishers sitting on the floor next to working stations that could be damaged or hard to see in the event a fire broke out exposing employees to fire hazards. (b) North of SPM machine - On or about January 25, 2024, the fire extinguisher located behind the SPM machine was blocked by material and equipment preventing employee from using it in the event a fire was to happen exposing employees to fire hazards.
