29 CFR 1926.451(f)(3): Scaffolds and scaffold components were not inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity: On or about August 29, 2023, an employee was exposed to a fall of approximately 19 feet while performing siding activities on a residential home located on Lot 244, Victory Lane, Columbia Station, Ohio, 44028. The employee was working from a ladder pick scaffold and the employer did not ensure a competent person conducted an inspection before work started.
