29 CFR 1910.332(b)(2): Training. Additional requirements for unqualified persons. Employees who are covered by paragraph (a) of this section but who are not qualified persons shall also be trained in and familiar with any electrically related safety practices not specifically addressed by 1910.331 through 1910.335 but which are necessary for their safety. a) On or about 08/09/2023, the employer did not ensure that unqualified employees such as AR specialists who work on disconnecting power to consumers from energized meters at 120v/240v/480v was adequately trained and familiar with electrically related safe practices not specifically addressed by 1910.331-335 including understanding the hazards based on the difference of voltages of 120v/240v/480v during on the job training with senior AR specialists.
