29 CFR 1910.178(q)(7): Industrial trucks were not examined before being placed in service: a) Warehouse Department (Facility - Forklift Operations): On or about August 08, 2023, and at times prior, the employer exposed employees to struck-by and crush-by hazards in that a daily shift inspection was not required or performed on powered industrial trucks (PITs) before employees carried out PIT warehouse activities.
