29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(iv)(B): Unless specifically permitted otherwise in paragraph (g)(1)(ii)of this section flexible cords and cables may not be used: [B] Where run through holes in walls, ceilings, or floors: On or about February 23, 2023, at the facility located at 410 W Franklin Street, Appleton, WI, two extension cords connected to electrical outlets below the suspended ceiling on Column D6 were routed through openings into the area above the suspended ceiling and then dropped through additional openings in the suspended ceiling to the nearby Supervisors' desks area. The two extension cords were connected to power strips for computer equipment used at the supervisors' desks.
