29 CFR 1910.1200(h)(1): Employees were not provided effective information and training on hazardous chemicals in their work area at the time of their initial assignment and whenever a new hazard that the employees had not been previously trained about was introduced into their work area (Construction Reference: 1926.59): a) 152 Bell Ave., Hasbrouck Heights, NJ (Exterior Front of Single Family Frame Home): Employees were required to work with hazardous chemicals and substances, including but not limited to, gasoline, Lehigh Masonry Cement Type S, and dust containing respirable crystalline silica. The employer did not provide information and training to affected employees on the safe methods and handling of hazardous chemicals and substances, prior to initial assignment of natural stone cutting operations, on or about 2/2/23.
