29 CFR 1910.305(g)(1)(i): Flexible cords and cables shall be approved for conditions of use and location. a) On or before 4/28/2021, the employer did not ensure that the flexible cord attached to the on/off switch that was plugged into the extension cord that was plugged into the outlet that was being used to run power to a homemade test tank with approximately 580 gallons of water was approved for use as temporary wiring. Employees were exposed to a shock hazard due to a flexible cord being used to run the electrical on/off switch being sprayed with water.
