29 CFR 1910.303(b)(1)(ii): Electrical equipment was not free from recognized hazards, based on the mechanical strength and durability, including, for parts designed to enclose and protect other equipment, the adequacy of the protection thus provided: A.) Young Galvanizing, Inc., 8281 Mercer Street, Pulaski, PA 16143, outside, on or about November 12, 2020 and times prior thereto: Employees were using a Blackweb Portable Bluetooth Party Speaker (M/N: BWA17AA006). The outer housing of the speaker was cracked and the power receptacle was hanging out of the speaker, exposing the inner insulated wiring. ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION REQUIRED: Abatement certification is required within 10 days after the abatement date noted on the citation (see below). This certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, the date abatement was completed, method of abatement, and state that employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
