29 CFR 1910.178(o)(1): Only stable or safely arranged loads shall be handled. Caution shall be exercised when handling off-center loads which cannot be centered. a) On or about June 9, 2020, loads were not stable and safely arranged in that the forklift operators were required to travel to a winder for the washer presses with an approximately 566 pound steel coil balanced on one fork and caused the load to be off-center, exposing employees who assisted with turning the loads at the winder.
