29 CFR 1910.134(h)(2)(i): Respirators were not stored to protect them from damage, contamination, dust, sunlight, extreme temperatures, excessive moisture, and damaging chemicals or were not packed or stored to prevent deformation of the facepiece and exhalation valve: On or about October 7, 2019, respirators supplied to production employees to protect them from respiratory hazards were not stored in a manner that protected them from damage, contamination, and sunlight. Respirators were observed sitting on a desk in the office, hanging from hooks in the paint and chemical storage room, and in an open tool bag in the shop area.
