29 CFR 1915.157(c): The employer did not ensure that affected employees wore protective electrical insulating gloves and sleeves or other electrical protective equipment when exposed to the risk of electrical shock: USS Miguel Keith, STBD Casing 1-34-1: On November 28, 2018, an employee was performing a continuity check on a panel with energized components while wearing a hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety shoes. Electrical-rated personal protective equipment for the hand and/or body was not utilized. The employee was exposed to electrical shock and/or burn hazards to the hands and body from 480 volts.
