29 CFR 1910.213(m)(1): The cutting heads of each wood shaper, hand-fed panel raiser, or other similar machine not automatically fed, were not enclosed with a cage or adjustable guard so designed as to keep the operator's hand away from the cutting edge: a) Sun Mountain, Inc. at 140 Commerce Road, Berthoud, Colorado: On or before October 16, 2018, the employer did not ensure that the cutting heads of two Northtech Shapers, model NT-735-15-1 were enclosed with a cage or adjustable guard so designed as to keep the operator's hand away from the cutting edge. This conditions exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards. b) Sun Mountain, Inc. at 140 Commerce Road, Berthoud, Colorado: On or before October 16, 2018, the employer did not ensure that the cutting head of a Delta Shaper, model 43-792 was enclosed with a cage or adjustable guard so designed as to keep the operator's hand away from the cutting edge. This condition exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards. c) Sun Mountain, Inc. at 140 Commerce Road, Berthoud, Colorado: On or before October 16, 2018, the employer did not ensure that the cutting head of a Invicta Shaper, model 1116 was enclosed with a cage or adjustable guard so designed as to keep the operator's hand away from the cutting edge. This condition exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards. d) Sun Mountain, Inc. at 140 Commerce Road, Berthoud, Colorado: On or before October 16, 2018, the employer did not ensure that the cutting head of a Northtech Shaper, model NT-735-10T was enclosed with a cage or adjustable guard so designed as to keep the operator's hand away from the cutting edge. This condition exposed employees to laceration and amputation hazards.
