29 CFR 1910.134(j): The employer did not ensure all respirator filters, cartridges and canisters used in the workplace were labeled and color coded with the NIOSH approval label and that the label was not removed and was legible: The employer is failing to protect employees from hazardous associated with using tight fitting respirators that have cartridges which are no longer legible. The most recent occurrence was documented during the inspection conducted on July 30, 2018 on the jobsite located at 10004 NW 112th St, Malcolm, NE 68402. The employer has eight employees using tight fitting respirators when applying spray foam insulation. This process is conducted approximately three to five times per week. The label on both cartridges of a respirator that was inspected was covered with debris and no longer legible.
