29 CFR 1910.28(b)(6)(i): (i) Each employee less than 4 feet (1.2 m) above dangerous equipment is protected from falling into or onto the dangerous equipment by a guardrail system or a travel restraint system, unless the equipment is covered or guarded to eliminate the hazard: a. On or about March 14, 2018, located next to Vulcanizing Department, there were stairs to a stair landing where storage was kept over office space. The stair landing had no mid rail, exposing employees to a fall hazard of approximately 18 inches into the splice mold presses in the Vulcanizing Department.
