29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3): Exit route(s) were not kept free and unobstructed: (a) Inside Route to Front Loading Dock Exit- On or about February 4, 2016, the designated exit route was blocked/obstructed by rolling carts, mail tubs, hampers, parcels, boxes and other mail equipment. (b) Loading Dock Outside Exit Route - On or about February 4, 2016, the designated exit route, via the steps or ramp to the blue line on the parking lot, was obstructed by rolling carts, mail tubs, hampers and Grumman LLVs. (c) Parcel Area Route to Inside Exit by Snack Machine - On or about February 4, 2016, the designated exit route was obstructed by rolling carts, mail tubs, hampers, parcels, boxes and other mail equipment. (d) Outside Route Ramp Exit By Snack Machine - On or about February 4, 2006, the designated route was obstructed by a ladder, mail equipment and miscellaneous trash and debris. (e) Inspection Exit Route - On or about February 4, 2016, the designated exit route was obstructed by rolling carts, mail tubs, hampers, parcels, boxes and other mail equipment. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 902255, citation number 1, item number 1 and was affirmed as a final order on July 31, 2013, with respect to a workplace located at 8827 Monard Drive, Silver Spring, MD 20901. The U.S. Postal Service was previously cited for a violation of this occupational safety and health standard 29 CFR 1910.37(a)(3), which was contained in OSHA inspection number 1075593, citation number 1, item number 1b and was affirmed as a final order on January 8, 2016, with respect to a workplace located at 5901 Jonestown Road, Harrisburg, PA 17112.
