29 CFR 1910.179(n)(4)(i): The upper limit switch of each hoist was not tried out under no load, at the beginning of each operator's shift: a) Unit 3 Turbine Housing Unit - On or about 5/7/14. employees were exposed to struck-by and crushing hazards when the limit switch was not tested at the beginning of the shift. In accordance with 29 CFR 1903.19(c), abatement certification is required for this violation (using the CERTIFICATION OF CORRECTIVE ACTION WORKSHEET).
