29 CFR 1910.1027(m)(2)(ii): Warning signs required by paragraph (m)(2)(i) of this section shall bear the following legend: DANGER, CADMIUM MAY CAUSE CANCER; CAUSES DAMAGE TO LUNGS AND KIDNEYS; WEAR RESPIRATORY PROTECTION IN THIS AREA; AUTHORIZED PERSONNEL ONLY: (a) AECOM - The employer did not post a warning sign in the work area for employees who sandblasted military vehicles to alert employees of the danger of cadmium. An abrasive blast employee was overexposed to cadmium at a rate of 13.1 ug/M3, on or about March 7, 2013. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
