29 CFR 1910.119(h)(2)(v): The employer did not periodically evaluate the performance of contract employers in fulfilling their obligations as specified in 29 CFR 191.119(h)(3): (a)Knouse Foods, Orrtanna, PA Plant - The employer did not perform periodic evaluations of the contractor they have had service their Process Safety Management (PSM) covered anhydrous ammonia refrigeration system for 38 years. There are no provisions to perform periodic audits in the "Contractors" section of the employer's PSM program. Abatement certification required within 10 days after abatement date. The certification shall include a statement that abatement is complete, date and method of abatement, and states employees and their representatives were informed of this abatement.
