29 CFR 1910.37(b)(2): The employer did not always ensure each exit was clearly visible and marked by a sign reading "Exit": ALON USA, LP, 200 Refinery Road, Big Spring, TX. The employer does not ensure all exit doors are identified with an exit sign. This violation was observed on or about April 15, 2009 and exposed employees to fire hazards. The North Exit door in the DHT Motor Control Room was not identified with an exit sign. Pursuant to 29 C.F.R. 1903.19, within ten (10) calendar days of the date of this citation, the employer must submit documentation showing that it is in compliance with the standard, including describing the steps that it is taking to ensure that all exit doors are identified with an exit sign.
