29 CFR 1910.1052(c)(2):The employer did not ensure that no employee was exposed to an airborne concentration of methylene chloride in excess of 125 parts per million as determined over a sampling period of 15 minutes: a) On or about October 29, 2024 - Kamesi Corporation - 111 E 100 St, Apt 2B, New York, NY 10029 - Bathroom An employee using Hoodstrip-888 Semi Paste Remover that contains 75-90% Methylene Chloride (MC), to remove paint from a bathtub was exposed to airborne concentrations of Methylene Chloride in excess of the short-term exposure limit (STEL) of 125 ppm over a 15-minute period. NOTE: IN ADDITION TO ABATEMENT CERTIFICATION, THE EMPLOYER IS REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ABATEMENT DOCUMENTATION FOR THIS ITEM, FAILURE TO COMPLY WILL RESULT IN AN ADDITIONAL PENALTY OF $1,000 AS PER 29 CFR 1903.19
