29 CFR 1926.454(a): The employer did not have each employee who performed work while on a scaffold trained by a person qualified in the subject matter to recognize the hazards associated with the type of scaffold being used and to understand the procedures to control or minimize those hazards: On or about May 21, 2024, employees were exposed to fall hazards, while working from supported scaffolds which were not secured to the rough terrain forklifts by a chain or some other secure method, while framing on a residential construction site in Mahomet, Illinois. The employer did not provide each employee with scaffold training by a qualified person, prior to permitting employees to work from scaffolding.
